Until June 2010 the 28th, “That’s Life ! Vanity from Caravaggio to Damien Hirst” takes place at the Maillol Museum. From Antiquity to nowadays, the Vanity them has always fascinated artists through paintings, sculptures, photography or videos, jewels and other objects.
This exhibition is composed with 160 works from public and private collections and gathers works from Antiquity illustrated in particular with Caravaggio’s works, Contemporary artistic movements, like Warhol or Damien Hirst’s Diamond skull.
